It’s officially the best time of the year! You can drink till you’re merry and eat till you’re sleepy. The decorations get their yearly outing from the loft, you challenge your inner Rudolph with a gorgeous (not) red nose and even though day light is at its lowest, good vibes are at their highest.
Not only all of that, but clothes get sparklier, darker and richer. Whilst there are lots of beaut dresses to chose from this time of year, it’s also absolutely freeeeeezing. I work in London so a lot of my Christmas drinks and outings are after work so whilst I want to look nice, I want to feel comfortable, warm and the outfit to be convenient. This is why I’ve outlined my favourite tops for this time of year that take a basic outfit of jeans/leggings and boots to an outfit ready for the bar or even the club.
The first one is this stunning red asymmetric peplum bandeau top – peplum shape so it hides any love handles and skims over your hips, emphasising your bust and waist giving you a perfect hour glass figure. The material of this top is really good quality with a structured fit. I’ve worn it 3 times and the shape hasn’t altered at all which is fab! I love it so much I got it in white too!
This tie waist blouse is a similar shape to the last one but more subtlety. Is boasts a gorgeous bow which you can tie as tight/Loose as you want (so you can loosen it after too many pigs in blankets).
This dogtooth skirt is an absolute winner this time of year. Pair this with an black top and either thigh highs or ankle boots – you’ve got yourself the ultimate festive season outfit.
